5. Stop Jap is the second album by Japanese hardcore punk band The Stalin, released on July 1, In September , Rolling Stone Japan rated Stop Jap #27 on their list of the greatest Japanese rock albums of all time. It was named number 22 on Bounce ' s list of 54 Standard Japanese Rock Albums.

The Stalin were one of the bands to star in Sogo Ishii’s movie Burst City, released on March 13, Their concert on June 24 was the last with drummer Jun, however he still appears on their major label debut album Stop Jap, as well as their first major label single “Romantist”, both released on July 1, as they were recorded before he left.

9. Stop Jap was released on the 1st July in and is arguably The Stalin's best work. The records lyrics are based on political, anti-nationalistic and anarchistic statements. On the B-sides of the album singles (Romanticist/Allergy) you can find cover-versions of The Doors .
