6. This is a worthy introduction to the many talents of Keith Jarrett. Two CD's cover a broad spectrumof his ECM career with many of the highlights covered. From a Jazz point of view the 'European Quartet' material with Jan Garbarek is the undoubted highlight. There are two tracks from Belonging - "The Windup" and "Long as you know you're living /5(12).

7. There are a couple of slow ballads, plus a couple of up tempo and another couple that fall somewhere in between. For me it is the more up beat tunes that take my attention ('Long As You Know You're Living Yours, and The Windup"), but the long langrous ballad "Blossom" is /5(37).

8. The list of "contenders" is/was extremely large and inclusive. It includes not only my own present collection, but all the new (audiophile) records I sold as a dealer in the s and s, the huge amount of (mainly used) records I purchased in the last 25 years and the enormous amount of records that have become available for me to audition in the last 20 years, when I began selling used.
